Exquisite design, beautiful colour combination, and wonderful block print detailing. shenouk does not often offer black textiles but for the Banti we made an exception… she is stunning. A backdrop of muted black provides a striking base on which dainty (and distinctive) floral motifs are placed… with a captivating central panel of red which is lightly used on the edges as well. The traditional subtle kantha hand stitching in multiple colour ways adds a beautiful accent to the entire piece, brightening and lightening with subtlety. A continuous and eye-catching pattern, the Banti is worthy of any resting place and of the caliber to adorn your finest nook.
The reverse is a simple and perfect plaid in the palest blue and teal highlights. (We love a plaid reverse)

Our kantha are hand block printed (and occasionally hand screen printed) in Indian cotton. Given vintage fabrics are used, small imperfections and wear may be found and are part of the charm.
