I love the Bertie. Smaller in size (which can mean more uses, not less!), beautiful colours and a thoroughly cheerful layout.
The front is a watermelon-or-is-it-raspberry pink accented by a gorgeous kelly green and white in such a happy design. The reverse is equally lovely but in a moodier way — dark faded green with embroidery in pink, yellow and white.
All our kantha are hand-selected on our trips to Jaipur. Vintage means signs of wear can be found in any piece, along with small patches. Kantha lovers find these perfect imperfections to enhance, not detract, from their beauty. That said, the Bertie is in very good nick.
