The Dharma is one lovely kantha. Worthy to brighten the end of an oak four poster, the back of a well-loved sofa, the seat of a shaker bench, or the arm of a favourite wing chair. Fully reversible — a winner already — with full design in home-worthy colours and wonderful block print.
One side showcases a dark pink with off-white (veering towards tan or towards the lightest yellowish green depending on light) and small touches of a subtle aqua, all in terrific pattern. It is common with traditional kantha to find one corner boasting more intricate block print design (always a treat)… the Dharma’s “corner” is super-sized and blessedly so as the pink/white design is magnetic.
The other side is a calm caramel-verging-on-chesnut-brown with intricate, delicate block print in light contrast. This view of the Dharma is unique and eye-catching and can easily take centre stage, decor depending.
