The front side primarily green & white… yet anything but simple. Breathtaking design, intricate detail, and beautiful colour are the Renata. One hallmark of a quality kantha is the fineness of stitching and this is as fine as they come. A chance encounter brought her to us, a fabulous chance encounter.
The reverse is predominantly blue but with a touch of what we’ll call Cambridge Blue (a green tinge), a wee patch of harmonious plaid and a couple striking panels in red. A wonderful blend of colour.
While we wholeheartedly adore the Renata as is, we admit it would make for a most ideal and covetable ottoman. New product idea?

Our kantha are hand block printed (and occasionally hand screen printed) in Indian cotton. Given vintage fabrics are used, small imperfections and signs of wear may be found and are part of the charm.
