The Simi Kantha is sophisticated, calming and beautiful.
The front is a blissful cornucopia of block print with consistent colour throughout (no patches here). A pale subtle green accented by dark grey print (& barely-there of touches of teal) in a varied, linear composition so perfectly suited to slotting in perfectly to our English homes.
My camera has had a hard time capturing her colour — a light sage verging towards a light olive (but more sage than olive!) so bear that in mind when reviewing photographs. Having the pleasure of her company in-person I can vouch for the fact she is beautiful in tone and colour
The reverse side is an easy two-tone turquoise, not too sharp, which could easily carry front-billing it’s that lovely. Both sides abound with the tiniest kantha stitches in alternating blocks of blue & pink. Fine stitching is a mark of high-quality kantha and we particularly love women have stitched them.
