Serena Kantha (Yellow, Aqua & Pink)

The Serena is an easy breezy kantha in traditional style. One side is a pale yellow adorned with bluey-green (in different light, it can take on a slightly different tone) and peachy-pink motifs offset with white detail. The reverse in lavender. Calm, uplifting & decidedly block print.

We always hand-select our kantha and choose them for all-over design, beautiful colour combinations and patterns perfect for our English homes. As with all vintage kantha, perfect imperfections can be present and only enhance the charm.

Fern Kantha (Green, Pink & Cream)

The Fern kantha is so perfectly unique. The front a fluid green, dull raspberry pink (or is it a soft tomato red?) design on a creamy background. The pattern, at once simple (a bit Navajo-sque) is simultaneously intricate in detail. The reverse a calm orange-verging-on-mustard-yellow (note: difficult to capture in photographs) with floral insets — vivid and beautiful in its own right. Storied fabrics are just wonderful. To see her is to love her.

All our kantha are hand-selected in Jaipur based on their colour, composition, and all-over pattern. We only choose those we see as gorgeous additions to our English homes.

Ilona Kantha (Mustard Yellow & Green)

The Ilona is a wonderfully warm kantha of an orangey-mustard yellow with thin stripes in green, yellow & brown. Likely best to look at the photos to see how this works beautifully (!). The reverse side, in the same colours, is a perfect match for front… different layout, same stripey bliss, perfectly in sync.

All our kantha are hand-selected on trips to Jaipur and chosen for their colour, composition, and/or all-over design. As vintage fabrics, signs of a life well lived are part of the charm and do not detract. That said, the Ilona is in excellent shape.

Nuala Kantha (Pink & White)

The Nuala kantha is a goodie. The front a muted pink accompanied by beautiful block print panels in white. The reverse more masculine stripes alongside a charcoal grey panel.

With larger dimensions, Nuala can be used atop a bed.

All our kantha are hand-selected in Jaipur with the primary criteria being would we welcome into our own home. The Nuala easily ticked that box. There are a few small blemishes (shown in photos) but in no way do they detract from the design or use.

Ursula Kantha (Multi)

The Ursula is one of those kantha where beauty is found in its wear. Perfectly sturdy (we machine washed and dried upon her arrival in the UK) but with a faded mix of colour exposed through the years that is just lovely. The reverse is a delicious apple green with red displayed in a more proper block print design, a happy soul.

All our kantha are hand selected on visits to the Pink City of Jaipur. The primary criteria is “would we want this little lovely in our own home”. All vintage kantha are unique finds and hold signs of character found in a life well lived — we love that.

Haddie Kantha (Green with Blue)

The Haddie is simply adorable. The front side showcases green & blue stripes accented by white kantha stitching. A beautiful border surrounds all sides, alongside a fabulous pink edge on the long sides (& apple green on the short sides). The reverse is a pink, green, and mustard yellow pattern which is a wonderful offset. Happily, dimensions of 160cm x 190cm mean the Haddie is of ample size for beds!

Franny Kantha (Yellow & White)

The Franny kantha in a sunny yellow & white large-scale plaid is simple, breezy vintage textile. Larger in size than most, she can fold over with ease or be laid out in full — flexibility is always lovely. Vintage textiles can bring with them imperfections; we’ve highlighted Franny’s in the photos you find here & her price is adjusted to reflect those.

We always hand-select our kantha and choose them for all-over design, beautiful colour combinations and patterns perfect for our English homes.

Note: Colours can be difficult to properly capture in photos, particularly yellows (in our experience). Please keep in mind, the photos shown may depict Franny as slightly “brighter” than she shows in reality.

Minky Kantha (Pink & Green)

The Minky Kantha is mellow pink and green — with a lovely calming yellow. Smaller in size (love), she’s also heavier than most vintage kantha we encounter but still soft and wrap-worthy. The reverse is a melange of pink & aqua blue.

All vintage kantha are unique finds and hold signs of character found in a life well lived — with a full life yet to come. Any signs of wear are part of the gorgeous gig.

Cora Kantha (Multi)

Love. The Cora kantha is colour-filled and charismatic. Clementine orange, tropical teal, apple green, tomato red combine to create one striking medley. The reverse in pinky purples is a clean sweep of intricate block print.

JoJo Kantha (Pink)

The JoJo is a vision in pink. The front side hosts pink with white stitching throughout and gorgeous displays of contrast colour showing through. The reverse a plaid in beige, powder blue & white… a muted design in itself but a wonderful pairing combined.

A super find if we do say so ourselves.
