The Fern kantha is so perfectly unique. The front a fluid green, dull raspberry pink (or is it a soft tomato red?) design on a creamy background. The pattern, at once simple (a bit Navajo-sque) is simultaneously intricate in detail. The reverse a calm orange-verging-on-mustard-yellow (note: difficult to capture in photographs) with floral insets — vivid and beautiful in its own right. Storied fabrics are just wonderful. To see her is to love her.
