The term Shenouk Limited, ‘shenouk’ or ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the www.shenouk.com website whose registered office is The Lindens, 6 East Street, Alresford, Hampshire, SO24 9EE, United Kingdom. Our Limited Company registration number is 12346175. The terms ‘you’, ‘Buyer’, ‘User’ refers to the user or viewer of this website.

Law and Territory
Shenouk Limited operates this website and is an English limited company and as such, the laws of England & Wales govern claims relating to it, including the use of the website and the materials contained within it. In using this website, you are governed by English law and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.
If you choose to access this website from outside England and Wales you do so on your own initiative and risk and you hereby agree that in the event of a dispute between Shenouk Limited and you, the laws of England and Wales will apply at all times.
Product Representations
Every care is taken to represent faithfully all descriptions of products, including but not limited to product descriptions, images and prices, used on Shenouk Limited’s website and social media channels. However, Shenouk Limited does not implicitly or explicitly guarantee or warranty that these representations are wholly accurate based on photo quality, users’ computer/phone monitors, and other such limitations. Errors can occur. You should not rely wholly on any representations made by or on behalf of Shenouk Limited. Any descriptions, illustrations or specifications of any Items are only intended to convey a general idea of the Items mentioned in them. We reserve the right to change the specification of the products we sell. Any clarification needed can be addressed to sales@shenouk.com.
Product Availability
All goods are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Mistakes can be made and occasionally products are unavailable. Shenouk Limited cannot take backorders on out of stock items given lengthy production and delivery lead times by our own suppliers. If for any reason the items ordered are not available you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund in a timely fashion. We will not be held responsible for compensating you for any losses you may suffer if we are unable to supply the requested products.
Product Variations
Most of Shenouk Limited products are made by hand with hand-mixed dyes. Fabrics are pre-shrunk and pre-treated to avoid against excessive shrinkage. However, variations in colour can occur and not all products in the same general colour can be guaranteed to share the exact same colour and specification; not all products in the same general size category can be guaranteed to share the exact same dimensions and specification. These variations are expected and enhances the charm of Shenouk Limited’s handmade products. Washing suggestions are provided in ‘Product Care’ but Shenouk Limited recommends dry cleaning for best results and care is solely the responsibility of the Buyer. Any additional shrinkage or colour fading of products (by sun exposure or cleaning) is natural and are not deemed a fault or reason for return (set out in ‘Delivery & Returns’). By placing an order via this website, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these terms.
Ordering Process
All products must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. In order to place an order on Shenouk Limited’s website, information including name, email, delivery address and phone number will be requested and required. When an order is complete and paid for an email confirmation with details of your order will be sent to you. This is only a confirmation of receipt of your order and not acceptance by Shenouk Limited of your order. Shenouk Limited reserves the right to contact you regarding this order with the contact information provided by you. Shenouk Limited is not obliged to fulfil this order for any reason, including but not limited to reasons of product unavailability or erroneous product mispricing. If we do not fulfil your order, you will be notified and payment refunded promptly. If the order is accepted and processed, upon shipment of ordered items an email will be sent out to you and represents the completion of the contract between Shenouk Limited and you.
Transfer of Ownership
Ownership of the Items shall not pass to you until Shenouk Limited has received cash or cleared funds payment in full of the price of the items, including any and all other sums (such as shipping) which are due Shenouk Limited by you. Once payment has been made in full by you and items have been shipped, ownership of the items transfers to you.
Prices
Prices do not include the cost of shipping. Prices are subject to change at any time, without notice.
Shipping prices are provided in the checkout process (and set out in the ‘Delivery & Returns’ section of this website) and are subject to alteration without notice. Any changes to shipment terms or arrangements must be made in writing, prior to placing an order, with agreement by both you and Shenouk Limited, and payment for shipping products are to be paid in full prior to shipment. Shipping prices can change at any time, without notice, and are laid out in the ‘Delivery & Returns’ section of this website. Shipping prices are noted in the checkout process for agreement by you prior to placing an order.
In the event products are listed at an incorrect price due to error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price. If we have already taken payment for the order containing the incorrectly priced item(s), we will subsequently cancel your order and refund immediately, providing notice to you.
Sale Price Disclaimer
Any discounted or sale priced products on the website are valid when the stated price on the website reflects this and not before or after. If you wish to return an item in order to buy an item on sale, you must follow the guidelines set out in the ‘Delivery & Returns’ section of this website following the 14 day return policy and bearing shipping costs of a return, as well noting any refund will be less the original shipping charge. Please also note that sale items are not returnable or exchangeable unless otherwise specified.
Shipment
Shenouk Limited uses third parties for shipment of items. Shenouk Limited will ship items in protective materials to avoid against damage during shipment, and Shenouk Limited will use shipping methods as specified in the “Delivery & Returns” section of this website which are assumed agreed by you. Should you wish to change the method of shipment, you must notify Shenouk Limited prior to placing an order in writing of this change, agreement must be reached by both parties, and payment in full for the additional cost of shipment, if any, will be due before items are shipped.
Shipment delivery timeframes are approximate and we will not be liable for any delay in delivery of products by third parties to you or any subsequent loss you may suffer as a result of any such delay.
Confirmations & Cancellations
All orders will be confirmed in writing via email to you on the email address provided to Shenouk Limited during the checkout process. All requests for order cancellations must be made in writing. If the cancellation of an order is requested before the products have been dispatched, a refund will be provided. If cancellation of an order is requested after products have been dispatched, the cost of returning items to Shenouk Limited is the responsibility of you, the items must be returned in their original, unused and resalable condition and any refund due you will be less the original cost of shipping. Shenouk Limited reserves the right to refuse any cancelation or refund of products if the items are not received in their original, unused and resalable condition.
Returns
Terms of our returns policy are set out in the “Delivery & Returns” section of this website. Of note, discounted or sale items are not accepted for return.
Right of Refusal
Shenouk Limited reserves the right to refuse any order at any time.
Faulty Products
Products should be carefully inspected on receipt. While effort is made to inspect each order prior to shipping, errors can be made; although unlikely, it is possible products may be received from our suppliers in a faulty condition or damage may occur in transit. The returns policy (see “Delivery & Returns”) covers both faulty and non-faulty items.
Website Use & Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website is protected by copyright and other protective laws. The contents of this website are to be used only in accordance with Internet regulations. The images and descriptions laid out in the website of Shenouk Limited are for customer use only. They are not to be reproduced, in whole or in part, without permissions in writing by Shenouk Limited granting approval to do so. Any link to this website is prohibited unless pre-approved in writing first by Shenouk Limited. To seek authorization for such approval, please email sales@shenouk.com. Any unauthorized use of this website will be subject to fine and/or criminal offense under English law.
While Shenouk Limited takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.
Force majeure
Shenouk Limited will not have any liability to you if it is prevented from doing so as a result of force majeure which includes, but is not limited to, extreme weather conditions, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes or difficulty in obtaining materials and labour. In any of these circumstances, Shenouk Limited reserves the right to cancel.
Disclaimer and Limitations of Liability
Shenouk Limited does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or for any fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this Website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you. The limitations of liability in these terms shall apply for the benefit of Shenouk Limited.
All products are supplied by us on condition that our liability for any fault or defect in the quality, condition, description or fitness for any purpose, is limited in amount to a sum not exceeding the purchase price of the particular products. In no circumstances shall Shenouk Limited be liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage.
Viruses, Hacking and other Technological Offenses
You must not misuse this website by introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this website, the server on which this website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to this website. You must not attack this website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Shenouk Limited will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will cooperate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use this website will cease immediately.
Waiver
If Shenouk Limited fails to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under these terms, or fails to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under them, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No waiver by us of any of these terms shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to you in writing.
Severability
In the event that any provision of these terms is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these terms at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use this website, or when you cease using this website. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these terms, we also may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to this website (or any part thereof).
Agreement
These terms and any policies or operating rules posted by Shenouk Limited on this website, together with the terms of any order, constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of this website, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the terms).
