The Mei kantha is a particularly special find. Worthy of brightening the end of a majestic four poster bed, the back of a well-loved settee, the seat of a bare bench, or the arm of a favourite armchair. The design in captivating tomato red is adorned with motifs in yellow and a fabulous soft navy blue border– a winner already. The magic of Mei lies in its bold combination which conjures those treasured fabrics of the Orient we all adore.
Our bias revealed perhaps … but the reverse can easily take top billing. A soft blue and green on white in large pattern (as well as a panel of intricate offset detailing) presents a perfectly gorgeous field. Versatile with its colour scheme and design, wonderfully at home in a children’s bedroom, gracing the back of a kitchen banquette, or within easy each in a snug for curling up for that evening rest.
