Caramel? Honey mustard? Gold (without the bling)? Deep Yellow? Whichever colour we choose to call her, the Beatrice kantha is just a fabulous textile bursting with warmth and personality. A dash of pinky/corally/reddy alongside beautiful block print pattern creates a vintage kantha worthy of our applause.
The reverse is an equally warm design: dark green set against a toned version of the front with varying patterns which are energy-filled and lovely examples of true block print.
We hand select all our vintage kantha while in Jaipur and continually marvel at these storied textiles. They are movable treasures of colour and pattern, serving an exhaustive list of uses. Given their vintage pedigrees, signs of a life well-lived are typical and add to their charm.
